Kenneth Morton / Elekta
Product Support Specialist

Born and raised in St. Thomas, USVI Kenneth Morton graduated from high school in 1990 and, following in the footsteps of an older brother, he joined the Navy and set off to see the world.

Over the course of twenty years and multiple tours of duty, Kenneth was stationed in California and Washington State, where he was deployed on aircraft carriers in the Gulf and honed his skills as an aviation electronics technician. Rising through the ranks he held the positions of Work Center Supervisor, Instructor and Training Petty Officer. His last rank before retirement was Petty First Class Officer.

“When I left the Navy in 2010, I knew I wanted a job that made a difference but I wasn’t sure what that would be. Of course I knew about cancer but I wasn’t familiar with radiation oncology. Today I have a job that matters. I make sure that the patient on the table gets the treatment they need, when they need it.”

Throughout his naval career, Kenneth learned to maintain, troubleshoot and repair sophisticated equipment and also managed the software systems that support the machines. The skills he developed in the Navy prepared him for his second career in the medical device industry, but the military gave Kenneth much more than a technical education.

“In the military, you’re exposed to diverse cultures and people. You learn to understand and respect where people are coming from and how to emphasize their strengths. Being in the military taught me to stay calm in high-pressure situations and get the issue resolved.”

Kenneth joined Elekta in 2011 and after four years as a Field Service Engineer, he moved to Atlanta and became a Product Support Specialist, with a principle role of providing real-time virtual technical support to leading medical institutions across the country.

“My military career gave me an education in life and I am proud to have served our country for twenty years. Building a career in medical technology has also given a chance to serve people in need. It’s an overwhelmingly satisfying job.”

Michael Eilerman

Michael Eilermann is an entrepreneur in the area of business networking.  In 2001, Michael started a faith-based Christian business networking group, that grew to 5 monthly lunches around Atlanta,  That group is currently reformulating as G6ten, founded on Galatians6:10.

Over the years, Michael has learned a lot about business networking about what works, and what does not. He now does several unique things to help others with their business networking productivity. He at times refers to himself as the $35 entrepreneur.  Though everything he does is on an ala carte basis, everything he does is $35 or less.  His latest entrepreneurial endeavor is a digital business card, using your personal business card, with working links to whatever you want people to know about you, including click to call, and click to email.  His digital business cards will work on any smart phone, tablet or computer.  No App Required. He also helps people create personal ‘About Me’ web pages and sites.  Business networking is significantly about people, and not always about the specific business that you do or are in.  He can have anyone into a simple About Me web site, teach them how to edit it, and have their name on it, in an hour and yes, for only $35.  He can have your audio or video business introduction on the internet, on your own easily referable web page for $35 or less.  We have to make it easy for the people who know, like and trust us, to actually refer us.  Michael has a personal saying, “You have to whittle away at your why not’s”

Sarah Woodward / Stable Kernel

AMMO Co-Director

Somehow made it onto Mobile Marketer’s “Mobile Women to Watch in 2016” list along with an impressive group of women professionals I admire.

Love spending every day as a marketing strategist and brand evangelist for stable|kernel – a 20-member mobile app development company working with innovative, purpose-driven clients. In almost three years we’ve grown in both revenue and size. Awesome to be part of building a company from the ground up!

I’m also a co-director for the Atlanta Mobile Marketing Organization, presenters of the Atlanta Mobile Awards. We invite mobile marketers, developers, interactive and digital media, brand and public relations professionals and anyone interested in learning from other people in our space to check us out.

In the past, I’ve managed global agency sales processes and client projects, assisted account and pitch teams, as well as working in the legal field before getting into public relations. I can’t turn down a good cause – I have a passion for getting involved and rallying the troops to take action.

Owner / Chef

Originally from Boston, Chef Greg learned about food at a young age when he first learned the phrase, “Food is love”. His first culinary steps were what captured his passion when Grandmother Rose showed him how to make chocolate chip cookies, and he states that he is still perfecting the recipe. After training at New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont, he worked in different restaurants in the Boston area.

Around age thirty, he trained with a classically trained French chef on a small yacht while sailing over a third of the way around the world. Shortly after the trip, Chef Greg moved to Atlanta and began working at Maxim Prime at the Glenn Hotel in downtown Atlanta. He then worked as the Chef at Alon’s Bakery and Market. After Alon’s, Chef Greg was Executive Chef at Dal Cuore in Johns Creek before opening Piastra.
